Evening gentlemen.
Has anyone else had any issue with these having a fault with the LED's?

I purchased 3 initially and now in the space of 7 months the third has finally stopped working. Each time they have been sent back to delkim and they have replaced them.
I've only used them for probably 8 18hr sessions.

( I take very good care and really careful with my fishing gear )
Is this a common fault or just bad luck?

I have not had an issue with mine.

I've used these and the slimlites never had a problem with these

My slimlites been hammered for over 4 years and still work like new. You must be very unlucky

This happened to me last year but it wasn't the actual light in the head it is the jack plug that slots into the alarm as if you move it slightly it works

Did you inspect the jack for debris or water etc?

Interesting (boring) fact. Apparently the slim lites are designed to be pulled from the jack socket using the head of the indicator rather than the cord or plug. Feels wrong but there is a cable in between specifically to take the strain.

I wasn't doing this and had a green one give up. Delkim sent me a brand new one out FOC.

Yes no debris at all as I tried another slim light and it worked first time

Maybe I'll get in touch with delkim about it

Spot on, damage usually caused by pulling the jack out rather than by the indicator head. A steel cord runs between both.
