Anybody using the ogx mainline 0.37mm any reviews ? is it wirey ?

No its not wirey,only just spooled up with it so can't give any user feedback yet.Its very supple and limp

Toying with giving this a go myself this upcoming season.
Just trying to find out if we have a minimum breaking strain/dia on the new syndicate.
I usually like at least 0 40 dia but that would mean 20lb with this.

All this different diameter to b.s is getting crazy,ogx 18lb is 0.37mm,syncro xt 15lb is 0.37mm then korda subline 15lb is 0.40mm.I normally go off diameter and as syncro 15lb is 0.37mm I went for that in ogx and it feels really supple and went on my reels lovely

I know what you mean mate. GR60 15lb is 0.40, that's why I asked the question to the Bailiffs at the syndicate. I doubt they would be coming round with a macrometer to check but as it's my first year on there , I thought it was best to check.
15lb seems to be out of stock a lot it seems.
I'm going to go for the 18lb.
Any deals out there? Best I've found is on the bay at £21.45 p&p inc.

For any consistency the lakes should make their line restrictions in diameter rather than BS. BS is just that in most cases.
One of my water is 15lb minimum mono and 15lb minimum braid. Makes no sense.
A 16lb mono could be 0.33mm diameter (Fox Exocet) or .a 15lb could be 0.40mm (GR60)
Even worse 15lb whiplash is stated as 0.14mm, totally unacceptable for fishing for carp but you are within the rules.
The safe diameter is open to debate, but I would have thought something like 0.35mm minimum mono and 0.30mm minimum braid would be safe and sensible.

Yes it should be by diameter as lines are rated differently another example is pb products 24lb 0.35mm dia and gr60 12lb 0.35mm dia yet both have very similar knot strengths

My club has max b.s 15lb max dia 0.37 I use either shimano technium 12lb or synchro xt 15lb. Depending on distance required.

How do you find it compares to GT HD in terms of casting , sinking etc Anyone else give any comparisons to ther lines syncro maybe ?

Yes. I agree it does seem strange, but max 15lb or 0.37mm dia.
Also max lead size of 4oz. Which does make sense given the line limits.
No leaders. No braided line. No rigmarole tubing. No Nash snowman bait screws. No artificial baits of any kind including zigs. I can see the point of the last two.

Absolutely - the no artificial bait rule should be applied on all waters IMO - there's no need to use plastic these days with the range of hookbaits available
