I'm needing some more gas for my stove. Been getting the colemans gas. 6 bottles which im shore I was paying just over £25. But now when going on amazon and ebay its showing for the same gas and amount of just over £33 does anyone no anywhere that is cheaper any info would be good

Using Cadac cannisters now. No difference but a fair bit cheaper. Some googling showed totallyhooked.co.uk sells 12 for 45, but perhaps they can be found even cheaper.

It's more expensive but if ever you're in a pinch Halfords always seem to have it in stock! It's Coleman too they've just changed the colour.

Be careful, there have been some issues with Coleman canisters not re-sealing properly. Some have also just not worked

I have found Coleman canisters are not the best.
CADAC and GoSystem gas are better.
Coleman do seem to suffer with low pressure when they are nearly empty.
I know it's not always the cheapest, but I do tend to get my canisters fron the local camping and caravan store.
£5.50 per canister works out at £33 for 6 so buying 6 at a time on the Internet is not always saving money

As above, first two coleman cannisters I've ever bought either leaked in the van, which stunk the van out for days, or they needed to be shook and laid sideways to maintain pressure.

I know that Old geezer says simply use them on their side or upside down, but I found even that didn't always improve the release of the final 'dregs', even with a Bulin. (Sorry Mate).
I found at times you did have to put around 5mm worth of water in a saucepan and heat it up a bit, then put the canister in the warmed water in the pan to increase the pressure inside to get the last out.
That's a call, although I haven't used the NGT gas, preferring to stick with the GoSystem.
