As the title says, which one should I get? The chirp 2 is out of my price range. 6hrs battery should be plenty but I see pro plus 2 now has 9hrs battery?

I think I've got the pro or possibly the pro2. It doesn't really measure under about two feet depth. Which doesn't bother me as that's either in the margins, in which case I switch to the mk1 human eyeball, or on the top of a bar/plateau and if I fish there on my waters you'd get savaged by bird life. I also don't use it for fish finding. For swim mapping it find it perfect. I guess if you want shallow measurements you'd need the chirp

I purchased a Pro 2 to replace a damaged Chirp and can't fault it. Connects instantly, signal never drops out and very good battery life. Added bonus is I no longer need the range extender I used with the Chirp fishing approximately 100 yds.

This is what I was thinking might be the case as I have heard people saying the range isn't great on Chirp + .. nevermind I have ordered it now lol

The information from the chirp is much better than the pro, plus it works in shallower water. The chirp was the right choice.

That's what it was on Amazon. Had a £50 voucher to use as well so got it cheaper
