Hi I'v been doing some winter fishing and would like to know the
pros and cons of the skullcap wrap and winter wrap, main reasons I want it is to help with condensation for my trakker tempest 100 brolly

I've used an ordinary wrap and it does help

The wrap gives you a front and door, the cap wrap gives you an extended peak but no front or door. Both help with condensation

Ive had a Temopst MB with full wrap, and now a 100 bivvy with cap wrap. Personally I'd take the peak option any day. Rain coming in the doorway and running everywhere on the groundsheet does my nut in. 👍

Until around 2 weeks ago I'd have agreed with you, but then The rain swung round 180 degrees during the very windy night which saw me turning the brolly round at silly clock in the morning if I'd had a wrap I could have just done the door up. The cap alone was no help at all then . Tbh I do really rate the caps and will continue to use one, but having the option for something with more protection is a must from now on in for me.

I have the dpm cyprinus full wrap that fits my tempest v1 brolly...great in bad weather or colder months, and no condensation as others have already said...
I also have the utility front for when my youngest comes fishing overnight and need more room for 2 bedchairs, again this has full zip up door for full weather protection...
I don't own skull cap...but am more than covered with the above and flexible for all seasons or longer sessions etc...

I use the skull cap wrap with the infill panel. I find it fine, almost eliminates condensation. One thing to be aware of though is that if the brolly gets wet before the wrap goes on you will get condensation. Having the peak allows you to letterbox the door and keep the rain out.

Yes the infill will fix that issue.
Don't really need the Winterskin. Maybe the skull cap wrap
As you have the front already, but you will also get a peak

Yep would have been very handy. If you've a front the a skullcap would be my choice , it's less faffing about than a wrap
