Does anybody know the best size/colour to get that covers most bank ware including century Jag etc or do I need to purchase more than 1.

The black one to fit most standard size diameter banksticks.If you look on The Tacklebox website it tells you which colour is for which sticks

I bought a red one and threaded it so it now fits all bank ware
