I'm looking for a new reel for my floater set up. I have a 12ft powermesh floater rod. Any recommendations guys? Cheers
I have a Daiwa GS 4000 balances nice on a floater rod setup or something like a Shimano super GT would be ideal

I did have the gs3000 on it but just got rid because was abit small but was thinking about the 4000.

Daiwa SS2600 (QD'd) or Emblem BR25A . . .baitrunners are quite handy when floater fishing as you can flick it on if you ever have to take your hand off the rod / fiddle about with PVA mesh bags / catapulting freebies out etc . . .

If you can find one the daiwa theory sp 4000 waa probably the best floater reel ive owned for floater fishing.

Yes prices have went a bit daft. Not as daft as solar prices mind. Some one was asking for £800 for 3 ptfe bobbin end caps and line clips on facebook the other day. Utter madness.
