I have a fox flatliner and need a memory foam topper as i struggle to sleep and need to try and make it it more comfortable. Any ideas? cheers

After trying a bulky and heavy memory foam thing I took Old Geezers advice and got a camping self inflating roll mat from Outdoors, absolutely spot on. Comfy, light and makes hardly any difference when folding up inside the bed 👍🏻

Mountain equipment helium 3.8 from Cotswold Outdoors is the one Oldgeezer recommended.I have got it and it makes a world of difference

I had the tracker self inflating mattress which I used on a wychwood tactical bedchair, as said above it absolutely transformed the bedchair. So I went and bought a carp spirt bedchair with a self inflating mattress built in which is also very good.

on a personal note you could not pay me to have a memory foam topper on my bedchair
the reasons in summer they dont breath so you sweat your gonads off in winter in sub zero temps the foam shrinks and goes hard
the SIM is the better option provided you FOLLOW THE BLEEDING INSTRUCTIONS ! and let it self inflate if you are a bell end and blow it up its just an airbed lol and you wont get anywhere near the comfort
so to work properly it need to be very soft so the air can move around much like a water bed

Id highly recommend only getting a 3/4 length self inflating mat rather than a full length.
If you get a full length then most of your weight is on the top half (shoulder to hips) and the extra air is pushed to the foot end so you end up virtually flat on the bedchair with little mattress padding.

i got that bed i bought a wide sim from a camping shop it fits perfect, the one quoted above is narrrower the next size is up a better fit for a fox bedchair. Have a look at the dimensions of the bed versus the sim so its as wide as the bed or close..

Tracker self inflating mattress is good valve and doesn't take up much room.

Do remember everyone is different.......I let mine self inflate the first time I used one and it was crap and uncomfortable.......few good puffs in it and comfort level was superb......

My sim is a cheap one from go outdoors, I just let it blow itself up but it still gets extremely hot..
If I buy a more expensive one do you think it will solve the problem of
roasting to death?
Ps..it's super comfortable and cost £17.00
