I have a set of three original 12ft 2.75 ib Greys X-Flite carp rods, with covers never use... worth any money... maybe looking to sell but not on E-Bay...

I've got a set of the original 3lb's with spod and marker all with the bags. Been looking for a while on where to price these so watching with interest. From what I've seen £150 a pair seems the going rate so maybe £200 for the 3. There doesn't seem to be too many of the originals come up for sale.

Grey's do make very good rods but do not have a particularly strong resell value like Harrison, Century etc have. Maybe because they release a new model every year or 2 so kind of flood the market a bit

If I remember rightly the original x flite were a dark green blank and made in UK.

Really? Was told the original x flite were a Harrison blank but if century sure they would still be a great rod even today.

Wont answer the question and i dont know what the set-up was but Greys used to advertise Century composites in the mags.

The old x flites were decent.
The more recent greys rods (torsion) seem prone to breaking, seen a few that break at the 2nd eye from the tip.

I believe the X-lite's were a copy of the X-lite S's which are on a Century blank.
