These look pretty decent, been around for a while how do they last? A but of feedback before a purchase if possible

I'm guessing you need to always line up rear bars with the clips which maybe a faff?

Also only two bands - are these suitable tight fit for cork and bare carbon?

I like them although imho they don't suit duplon or cork as the bands are very tight and may permanently damage these. Perfectly ok on bare carbon. They move easily enough to make setting up easy enough but won't shift otherwise. I only use them for locked up and river fishing on single sticks.

Recently bought some Pro logic clinch and pivot butt grips. Similar idea and first impressions are good.

Probably better for bank sticks as opposed to pods as the force to remove them in a snag fishing situation will inevitably result in you lifting the pod.

Then surely you shouldnt be using a pod? Or you shouldnt be fishing to snags?

I think you have misunderstood what I have said or atleast trying to say.

I was simply stating that they will be no good if you want to use them with a pod as they take a certain amount of force to release the rod. Using with a pod when having them set tight (snag fishing for instance) will end up with you lifting the pod.

I found this out by testing them on a pod prior to hitting the bank.

I normally fish 2 rod buzz bars, hadn't consider it twisting on the stick. I've used the older ESP V type ones (I think ESP) for ever that grab the blank and never had a twist but they're screwed in where as these didn't look locked in.

Would keep using these but they damage the cork so need an alternative that holds them in place.

The adjustability of those look pretty neat.

So the bearings hold the bit that slots in in place?

Iv been using these for the last few years and I wouldnt use anything else now. The fact you can adjust them depending on if your fishing tips up or down helps also.

Could do with a couple of spare rubber rings but mine haven't perished like I thought they would.

As for fitting on cork or carbon, I cant see there being issues on either of them as they are quite forgiving.

Yes and you can have them as tight or as loose as you like. They are versatile and allow you to have your tips up or down.
