Anyone had any dealings with this guy, (Kaine Lovett) recently?

Sent off 3 reel handles for some work 5 weeks ago now with a promise of them being turned around in a week and still waiting....

I tried to contact them twice,got no reply.That was enough for me to swerve them

I did Wayne, historically he had some service issues but had got these back on track and feedback had improved considerably.....to be fair his comms have been OK but the excuses are wearing a bit thin..

He's done a few bits for me in the past, he's a bit s**t at timescales but his work is good.

I'm not sure i'd use again, looking at the reviews and comments I think i was quite lucky

I'm usually a pretty good judge of charachter but think I may have dropped a bollock here....it's not just the £70 to cover the work but if I end up having to replace the handles that's probably the best part of a couple of hundred...

Not for a few years now, he was spot on with my kit but I did drop the deposit round to his house in cash so he knew I was local and knew where he lived so it would be hard to fob me off. You'll get your handles back, it just may take a while

I ordered some bobbins from him, work looked good and he came across as a decent chap but, never heard a thing from him after ordering apart from fob offs etc, had to get refund from PayPal eventually. Not what you want to hear I guess!!

A good while ago now mate, but looking at online reviews afterwards it looked like his modus operandi!!

I had some reel handles and bobbins from Kaine some years ago. The guy was a real pain, it took ages and many phone calls to finally get the stuff from him. He lied saying the bobbins had been lost in the post etc etc etc. On the upside though, his prices and workmanship are top drawer.

Looks like I've been a bit of a mug on this one. Well I am not the kind of person to let these things just go and put it down to experience, he will be getting a phonecall again tomorrow...

He won't answer your calls, and if he does answer, he'll have an excuse ready.
I found the best way was to go and knock on his door.

Well I have had a message to say they have been shipped today......so let's see if they turn up...
