Right. I no I've asked before. But I'm won't to treat myself to a new set of ear buds / headphones. I've got a set of bose headphones at moment. But thay are getting passed it now. I don't won't to spend mega money on a new set. I payed £350 for the set I've currently got. The question is. What make should I go for ? I do I've the bose ones. But are there better for similar money? Also how good are the ear buds these days? I never got on with the ones that sat in the ear as always seemed to make my ears ache. Are the new ones more comfortable? Any info would be good. Thanks

The Sony 1000xm4 seem to come out on top for earbud type,Beats are doing a new pro fit one with wing tips on.Beats are alot better quality now due to being owned by Apple.If I was in the market for some I would be looking at the Sony ones

I've always liked Sony. Always had Sony radios ..tvs ear phones and so on. Then when got bit of extra money I got a bose hi fi and headphones. I think bose sounds better than the Sony for ear phones. Beats I've never liked.

No I have never liked Beats,they are alot better than they were.If you like your Bose then look at some new models out now,the quiet comfort are very good 👍

You are gonna have to go high end to compete with what you have. I have some decent AkG over ear but tried earbuds for the first time last Xmas. Just a 30 quid pair of sonys to try.

I hated the feeling at first but then gradually I guess your ear gets desensitised. They are Bluetooth from the phone mostly so it's hardly critical listening. But what I really discovered was that how you have the bud fitted effects the sound enormously.

The right fit is everything. I bought a set of different size memory foam tips. Bit softer and got just the right fit. Suddenly loads of bass. Pull them out 1mm and the bass goes down

So, as I've had a positive experience with them I've considered spending more for some Bluetooth earbuds. Something that gets good reviews by what huff maybe spend up to 100. But if you don't like the fit you might be screwed.

I tend to buy sennheiser headphones, Sony audio kit always seems a bit bass heavy to me, probably not a bad thing depending on the genres you're in to.

I'm actually using studio/monitor headphones a lot lately

Well I've treated myself to a set of bose ear buds. Hopefully be turning up next week . So that's my Xmas present sorted. Gone with bose as I've got an old set of headphones and like them

I didn't realise anker done ear buds till I see them on amazon. I've got anker chargers for fishing 2 charge my phone up. I was wondering how good thay would be ?

Everything they make seems to be good. I don't think they'd introduce a product to market that let the brand down. That said - I haven't tried any of their earbuds but can certainly vouch for the over ears model I mentioned above.

I've been using Sony for a year and they work pretty well.

It's funny this thread should be bumped now, I just got some of the q30 hybrid headphones for commuting. Comfortable and decent sound, well worth the money
