Anybody using this that can offer some feedback? Weight and comfort important but also the bag needs to be NOT fleece lined (cos that idea was shyte). Looks from their website to be good but always keen to hear first hand views..

Seen gd reviews on here but looks short in the length at 200cm

Have the wide sleep system and have to say it's the bed bed chair I have ever used. A lot firmer than other beds on the market which some people may dislike but is a plus point for me. Have done long sessions in it and sleep as well as in my bed at home. Bag is not fleece lined and with the cover I have yet to be cold.

I sleep on my side and whilst its hard I use a mat with it and its great

Love mine, very comfortable. Had a fox flatliter before, which was comfortable, but the solar is a step above in my opinion.
I went for the standard, I'm 6ft, quite wide set, and a fatty. It fits, but if I was to buy it again, I'd go for the wide version.

Same as already been said cannot fault mine except you mention the weight, I have the wide version and wouldn't want to transport it on a barrow with all the other gear to far as it is pretty heavy, not a short session bed in this version in my opinion unless your a lot fitter and younger than I'am or I would consider taking it if I'm parked close to the swim.
I only bought mine for the longer duration trips as in a week away abroad and generally that only involves pulling it out the arse end of the van.

Thanks for the feedback gents, much appreciated.. It sounds like the standard width will do me fine; using the flatliter compact at the moment and although great I do dislike the fleece bag, and for winter it is a bit tight when wearing more clothes.. Now just gotta find a good deal somewhere..

Im not sure the solar in normal side is much wider, if any, than the flatliter compact. May be worth comparing sizes before you buy

It's strange as I had a duralite before I got the solar bed.The duralite was a SS and my solar is bed and separate bag,I think the fox SS's restrict movement due to the bag being zipped to the bed.The Solar SS is not zipped on an allows alot more movement and fleece bags can grip your clothing so makes it feel even more restricted.I love my solar bed and Fortis sleeping bag,best combination I have owned by a mile

What's the weight of the solar bed compared to the duralite. I have a duralite but snapped one of the legs, Fox has no stock of spares until at least February and 1 month out of warranty. 🤦🏻‍♂️.. Do like the duralite for comfort, but don't think the strength is there, the other legs bent and I'm only 14 stone 🤪.. Took it to a master welder to attempt to fix, and he said this is too 5hit to weld it's made of chineseium 😂.. Gutted I've got a bed I like sat useless for months...

It's a few kg's heavier,I have tried save a bit of weight by having the lighter bag.The extra weight is well worth it imo as the materials used are alot stronger than the duralite

without the top section of the bag (winter wrap) it weighs 13.8kg - weighed my last week for a friend who was after buying one

If it's anything like there sp chair it'll be a fantastic bit of kit . Out of curiosity are you guy's finding that the sleep system is better than just the bedchair with a separate bag , thanks ?

Ive done ten nights so far and love it. Going to swap top cover for my aqua cover as prefer it.
Hard bed non fleece bag, good crash zips and very warm. Fished minus two last week and it was perfect.
Beats my trakker els hands down.
