I use Nash Skinlink as coated hooklink. This is absolutely the best coated braid I have used but the worst to strip. The Korda strippa tool just damages the inner braid and the plate with the groove that strips the coating, was bend a little in only one try.
Which stripper tool is the best (and don't say 'use your teeth')?

It might be because you are using the Korda strippa tool the wrong way round and that will cause it to bend. Push the coated braid into the "Strippa" from the opposite side of the "Blade" so that when you pull back to strip the outer, it is pulling the copper "blade" bit into the body of the Strippa itself and then it gets support and does not bend.
It may also be why you are damaging the inner core of the braid as well as it has never happened to me using one.

As Zack says you need to use it the correct way around or it all bend. The other tip is to strip it in sections rather than all in one go so as not to have to pull too hard

I've used one the right way around and still bent the blades, Korda replaced it with a couple of new ones and said the trick is not to pull the braid through too quickly.

I've found the Nash stripper the best for stripping the Nash coated braid.
The Korda one can't hack it either way you try, it just bends.

Whatever works for you. I've got a Korda one I have been using for years. No problems.

Hi mate, I have used in that way as that would make the most sense indeed. But it still bend the plate and damaged the inner braid.

I purchased the Nash one yesterday and that works great. I find out of the 3 sizes, the 0,3 mm is the best for Skinlink.
