Afternoon all
Anyone have any suggestions on what is the best/ biggest carp tackle shop/ showroom in Wales or along the M4 corridor?
I'm looking to kit myself out after a long break and whilst there are many great reviews and opinions I would like to be able to feel and see products in the flesh such as bed chairs, bivvies' , rood and reels etc.
Any suggestions?

Best around Cardiff/Newport is Cardiff Angling Centre at Cefn Mably but not exactly a huge showroom with much on display. Garry Evans a good store but not much on display or a wide range of brands. Never been to Angling Direct Bristol or actually into Bristol Angling Centre, who I have used many times and the service there is excellent. They do stock a fair amount and have always said if not on display but in stock they will get out and set up for you

Mirror MiniWelsh regarding Gary Evans and Cardiff Angling Center - best shops around these parts but neither will have a large slection of bivvies, bedchairs, etc.
You'll also struggle in regards to finding a wide range of rods and reels to try in any shops im this neck of the woods.

Sadly true which is why I also recommended the Bristol stores. Also why I am going to the Big One Show next year to look at brolly options as I know of nowhere near that will stock the options I am considering

Cefn Mably used to be half decent, I stopped calling in there when I was down that way even before Covid all started, it felt to me that stock and things out on display were not replaced, what ever happened to First 4 fishing used to call in there a bit was alright for a few bits and bobs is it online only now?

Treat yourself to a day out at Johnson Ross, a lot in stock and on display if you are looking to buy a lot what you may save will cover fuel costs. I know not in M4 corridor (M4, m25 and a10) but might be worth a road trip.
