Any users of these the grizzly or Monsoon smocks?
Interested in Build quality, sizing, what stretch is in the fabric and how warm they are.

I have the grizzly smock. It's extremely warm and comfortable, and also quiet for moving around (makes sense for a shooting brand) it's great for dry and cold weather but despite claiming water resistance you would want a proper waterproof layer over it in wet weather.
All the ridgeline gear is good quality but not cheap.

I have an old monsoon, I've used it shooting and fishing. I've had it close to 7 years now at a guess and the only problem I've had is the chest pocket has a hole in where the weld has gone, only a small hole that doesn't seem to want to get any bigger so I can live with it.
They're breathable but don't expect goretex levels of breathability, if I wear cotton or anything non wicking under it I'm sweating even in a t shirt. I do run hot though to be fair. Mine doesn't get alot of use just because of how warm I get in it but if I was to be standing out in the rain for a full day it would be my go to.
I've lived in NZ where this brand is from and alot of people who live on the west coast use this stuff in the bush as it's non stop rain there most of the year. It's a tried and tested in harsher environments than the UK so buy with confidence

Perfect thanks, is it fleece type material/weave or more like hardshell material? Interested in its flexibility/stretch around my fuel tank really.
My thought was to wear this under a goretex shell if it rained but mostly our winter days are crisp and dry so like you just a t-shirt underneath most of the time
