Been in the market for a set of Century NG 2.75's but the couple I've seen have been pretty rough, what would the off the shelf modern version of this rod/blank be now?

Not a huge fan of the armalites, not in factory build anyway. Ideally want 40mm ringing.

What about a set of Harrison Accurix,or CTX..

Apparently nice player type rods the Accurix,,I use the CTX,I like em,and wow,they even bend,ha,ha..!!

think the new version are £370 each !! so I will stick to my Century NG Autoclave 2.75 rods
if it aint broke dont fix it is my motto

I had a pair of the old NG 2.75tc and thought they were a nice close to medium range rod with plenty of bend in them when playing a fish a true 'players' rod if you like. The nearest I have found and currently have are Free Spirit ES 2.75tc, very similar attributes to the NG's but I feel a nicer rod to play fish on.
