Anyone own the tacklebox cfx rods pref in 3.5lb tc looking for feedback before purchasing

I'm new to CFX rods and picked up some 2.75's a couple of weeks ago. I did a 200 mile round trip to compare them against the XS and I'm glad I did because it saved me around 600 quid!
The fella who served me went above and beyond, we went through the whole CFX range comparing against CTX, E, S, Hi s and Harrison's. There were some variances here and there but nothing significantly noticeable to me to justify a massive extra spend. Lifetime warranty is a nice touch too.
Once I'd settled on the CFX we went through the test curves, I was expecting to walk out with 3.25's, but there was very little in it and for my style of fishing I was happy to drop down the tc's to enjoy playing fish a bit more. Bottom section felt quite stiff across them all
So far, used a couple of times, not caught a fish but they do feel good in the hand with a reel on them. Mine are paired up with gold spool Emblems
I went for the black edition without any customisation and they look decent enough. The carbon wrap reminds me a little of the SPD's. They took out a few rods to find me a set where the eyes all lined up and you even get decent rod bags, not the nasty plasticy ones brands seem to use now.
My advice would definitely be to get over to see and wiggle them, I'm certainly glad I did because unless they change the blanks significantly I now know what the other test curves feel like so could mail order if I ever felt under gunned.

I've got the 10ft versions. Great rods and brilliant after sales service. I knocked one of the eyes and the ceramic popped out which was completely my fault, they sorted it FOC and said if it happens again and needs a new eye that will be covered too as it's a tackle box product

Got 2 set's 12ft 2.75 and the 12ft conti's. The conti is everything a free spirit hi s er should have been but wasn't in my eyes. Buy the cfx with confidence and coupled with that the staff at the tackle box are extremely helpful.

At the moment only got the 12ft spod/marker rod, fantastic rod. When I buy my next set of rods it will be a set of these. Add the top class performance to the top quality service and lifetime back up, why go anywhere else?

I've got a set in 3.25 and they're a dream to play fish on. Love em. Superb build quality. Best set I've owned.

I had the 12' Spod rod.
Lovely blank and the quality of the build was very good.
But I found the handle far too short (I am 6'1” with long arms) and didn't like the fold friendly ringing.
I would be very happy to buy them with a custom build but would recommend you seeing if the standard build works for you before buying off the shelf.
Anything developed by the TackleBox will be great, and have the best aftersales service.

The custom option was only a few quid more when I enquired, but the lead time was too long for me at the time. I'm not keen on the ringing and would also have liked a couple more inches on the handle but it's still a great spod rod
