Not impressed with the paint on my carp Porter - has anyone re-painted one if so what paint ? Like to keep the original colour just need touching up in places as it will rust.

I can beat that! My MK2 is 20 years old and still got all the original Screws etc, only had to fix 2 punctures on it, you watch kiss of death now i said that, bet it falls to bits!!

If your going to just touch it up you might as well just spray the whole thing s it will only take half hour longer anyway
plus once you start it won't match as it would have faded

as mentioned - if it's aluminium it wont rust - personally I wouldn't bother

Sounds a bit like mine! Definitely over 20 years old...Although it's missing several screws, been welded up a few times and painted it with black hammerite in places. It now looks like it has broken up on re-entry but it still does the job 😂
