I have some butt rests that are far to big for my shrink wrap handles I also use other rods full cork which are fine any ideas what I could use to make them fatter to fit I don't want to use tape

You'd be better off getting butt rests to suit. Nd tackle do some with rubber straps which I use for all my fishing which can be adjusted to suit all diameter handles

There was a thread recently about adjustable butt rests, and based on Ian's recommendation I went for some of the ND magnetic ones. They are decent. But there are cheaper options - if you find the recent thread, I put a link to some adjustable ones on eBay. Think they were £2.

Get a couple of sets of the esp ones, they are about £4 each and are brilliant.

Jag lockdowns best by far, had the solar ones but to big for me and don't come in black to match my pod/ bank sticks

Cygnet ones are great pal they come in two sizes designed for shrink wrap handles. I fish a venue when I fish locked up on all rods and it's always done the job and solid.

Added together with the rod lockers, they're s4it hot. Expensive, but excellent 👍

Another vote for ESP. Light, simple, effective and cheap. Just make sure you get the right size.
