I very rarely see red hook baits and can honestly say I cant recall ever seeing green or purple hookbaits.

I wonder why these colours aren't commonly used or sold?

Its all down to what anglers think looks 'carpy' imo. All those colours work i jist dont think they would sell as many.

I have some 24mm luminous green wafters. They look absolutely rediculous, i mean they really look obsurd. But they work.

I've seen a few red baits. I remember some strawberry flavour from dragon carp direct that I used a while back that were dead cheap and absolutely brilliant on the water is was fishing at the time.

Currently trying the Red Amo tiger nut range out. Not setting the world on fire yet, but when everyone else on the lake is blanking I'm not going to put them blame on the bait. .... yet ...

Rollinbaits have some coming out called the HI-LYTE range they have a purple haze in the range. It's a very subtle smelling bait not your typical over flavoured pop up. Without trying to make it sound like I'm trying to flog you a pot I've had some great results fishing for some big pressured carp using the purples.

I would guess that it's simply because they don't sell as well as other colours...

As were their Cranberry Squid's, the best shelflifes I've ever used

A good way of getting around this could be to make your own? I've seen Koda Baits etc have done customs rolls of red Cell hookbaits too
