Used tiger line for the last 2 seasons and its got incredible sinking properties which i am sure has helped me catch more fish but its a nightmare for line twist especially when wrapping up
Is there any other lines that sink as well as tiger line or do i need to put more tension in it?
Any tips?

I found xline very good and used it for years without issues.
Been using berkley cf600 for last few years and initially loved it..... Although spooled up last October with the 27lb ish version (all I could get at the time) and had loads of snap ups with it this July....... But, was run ragged by cats at times through branches etc. And although I stripped off many yards of lines, i could of missed some abrasions on the line......

hi buddy - you do have the bail arm open when wrapping up don't you ? my pal always does it off the clutch (I know, I've told him) and the twist he gets is crazy.
Ive never had a prob with 16lb tiger.

You dont mention it but i assume you are giving it a good stretch every now and then. I tie my flouro to a post and stretch it out under some real tension . 2 benifits here , the first you find any weak spots, and the real reason i do it you take all the kinks and coils out of the flouro, then wind it back onto the reel under light tension. I use the fox flouro but they all pretty similar

Yeah i have the bail open arm,it seems to be as soon as it goes slack at any point,it loops up.
I think putting tension in the line will be the key and to be fair to it,its had a full years use and only recently started doing it

Bit late in on this one but for what it's worth!
I've used x line for some years now and like you I'm convinced it's caught me fish in situations when non flueros wouldn't.
Never had a problem with line twist in the past but recently swappped to 20bs from 17 as the 17 was not available.
Now like you getting terrible looping/line twist etc.
Not 100% sure there is anything in this but I will be swapping back to the 17 as spin doctor etc just hasn't worked.

I think you'll find tigerline is one of the better ones out there. I've used that and Korda kontour for nigh on ten years now without any complaints.
If your struggling with twist, walk your lines out, stretch them, cut leaders off and wind in through your fingers. Will be straight as an arrow for another few trips.
