What would most prefer for a French trip out of these two, want to keep things simple, it will be boilie only.
It's a holiday venue, but not on the scale of dreamlakes etc.

Rarely fished abroad but Sticky Krill has caught fish for me in every water I've used it. Not just carp either. Good bait with all the bells and whistles available.

Live system is a great bait! If there is alot of cat fish I'd avoid fishmeal baits. Iv taken live system to France twice and had really good trips with lots of fish. Both catch fish

Thanks for all your replies!
I am going to take both, as some have suggested, will mix it up a bit and see what happens.

Live System has worked well on some busy French publics for me. I suspect because it's different to most of the other Baits used on there... Which are usually eurotrash cheap stuff/ particles by the locals, and fishmeals from those travelling.
Bit of a generalisation, but it's a good bait, resists detritus smells to an extent.
Obviously the Krill is a good bait, so I'd agree with others.. Take both and then you have all bases covered.

Do you not know that you can't currently take boilies to France?
Can I take boilies to France?
No. Currently you are NOT allowed to take Boilies to France. Since leaving the EU you can NOT bring any meat or dairy products into France or other EU countries, from outside the EU. This includes boilies.
Anyone caught taking boilies to France or other EU countries risk having their bait confiscated by Border Forces and potentially at risk of receiving a fine.
Why can't I take boilies with me to France?
On the January 1st 2021 the UK Officially left the EU. I'm sure practically everyone will have heard of or know all about “Brexit”.
After leaving the EU the UK is now classified as a NON-EU Country, which means a new set of rules must now be adhered to.
One rule that came into effect which has a BIG impact on anglers and lake owners alike is you are not allowed to bring any meat or dairy products with you when you enter an EU country from a non-EU country.
Most boilies contain dairy products (eggs and milk proteins) and many boilies also contain fishmeal's and potentially meat derivatives.
There are some specific animal by-product exceptions, but put simply, you are NOT allowed to bring boilies into the EU from the UK.
