Quick question as anybody Velcro a groundsheet before i have the trakker t100 and petrified of rats if yes did it work and where did you get the Velcro from

If a rat wants in it will just chew through. Then if your groundsheet is fixed it's stuck in there with you! The best bet is to have nothing in your Bivvy that they would be interested in.

I have not brought the ground sheet yet i just got the t100 i been using the Nash double top with in capsule for years but its had its day

cheap small radio put it on radio 4 thats a mostly talking 24 hours put it under your bed so you can only just barely hear it
you will soon get used to it and not hear it but a rat will hear it from a way off and it will not come in your bivvy

The groundsheet has elasticated loops on it pegs out with the tempest u could buy Velcro on eBay but would need stitching onto the groundsheet and flaps on the bottom of the tempest but won't do anything to stop rats getting in they would just chew straight through the groundsheet or tempest if they really want to get in

You are joking right ? got a mate who does this cos he thinks a radio and a light keeps them away, I put a light, radio and a trap outside my bivvy door one night, 5 minutes after getting into bed one dead rat, mice are the same too.

well I have been using it for at least 10 years and never ever had a RAT come inside so dont know what the F... your doing wrong to say you caught a rat outside your bivvy does not surprise me
again I will tell you it stops rats coming INSIDE your bivvy if you have a talking type program on all night
lights dont do F--all of course at one time I was fishing in France 6 to 8 weeks of the year every year in some really rat infested waters and its never not worked
