Yep saw them in the tackle shop their same design pattern as the Gardner Rigga CRV hooks

I have never really used Gardner hooks but only seen good feedback on the muggas

I've used muggas in the past and found them a very weak hook, I've had a few open out on me so threw them in the bin, a mate found the exact same, I love the pattern and they get really good reviews on here, maybe I was abit unlucky I don't know but I don't think I could trust them again.

Its used on the latest master class i think, and possibly the one before briefly. Pretty sure its on a rnnie rig mostly, makes it super aggressive. And sure he uses it on another rig type but cant remember. It will work on anything a curve shank hook would i would have thought

Hookholds possibly or a duff batch? I use Muggas for Barbel fishing on the tidal Trent, only time I can open one is if it gets snagged on a rock and I straight pull with 15lb line wrapped around my arm. No way can I see it happening with a rod.

Used muggas for far to long, never had a problem, very strange.

Mugga's I've had a couple open up on me but I put it down to moody hook holds ! One of the sharpest out of the packet hooks imho

I reckon you could bring a great white through a bed of lillies with a size 4 mugga. Must have been something funky going on.
