There are little dip switches in the back of the alarms and receiver in the battery compartment. It doesn't matter what you set them at ie 1 down all the rest up or any configuration as long as they are the same in both alarm and receiver

Their is a red button on the back of the receiver press that in it should unsync the recivcer from the alarms the button may be under the battery cover
