Anyone any preferences on who's good for rod refurbs.

I've got x3 century NCS that are in need of a refurb, guides are OK but
need a full strip new reel seat and full shrink butt.

Ideally not costing the earth either.

There's a list of rod builders on Harrison's website, perhaps one local to you on there who can help. I had Kevin Baines do mine, but I believe he's retired.

There's also a chap on here who builds and refurbs rods, he's in Scotland I think, profile is "Jeffire".

Couple spring to mind, I've used both, zero issues, excellent service and end result... DLST Rods (Dave Lumb) and Vic Gibson, via Johnson Ross. Who ever you chose, expect to wait several months. Big demand right now...

Like myself, since march 2019 Dave no longer does refurbs /rebuilds unless he built the rods .He will replace the odd ring but thats it. Lumby is a personal friend of mine excellent builder and bloody good angler.

Chris Palmer formally of Pottys quality leads foes excellent rebuilds and rebuilt 3 sets of my rods. He's easy to find on faceache
