My new book turned up today, lot of it my old stamping ground and am very much looking forward to reading it on my week off next week.

I was reading, yet again Confessions of a carp angler,by BB last night,only I was out in a copse ,camping..!!...not a human being for miles,thank god..!!
Fred j Taylor is someone I'd like to read more of,especially his damper bread recipes.

Mine arrived on Friday, it was well packaged and easily survived the trip to the US.
An excellent read, Dave illuminates well the challenges in targeting those Cambs. Fish.
I particularly enjoyed the Longreach sections, and some of the photography is superb.
Looking forward to his subsequent book in the fullness of time.
