Hi all wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a lightweight 42" landing net and pole. That's preferably under 100 pounds.

I suffer with back problems and although I can land the fish with my current net, I do struggle abit with my back. I currently have a jrc xlite I think it is. Are there any others out there that are super lightweight. Tia

I bet there's only ounces between them. It's the mesh that'll make the difference, try a shallow one rather than a deep mesh, or one with an open weave so it moves easier in the water

Cheers for that I was actually thinking that myself. I just didn't know if a different net would fit my current pole.

Do any of the lighter nets spring to mind thanks

Maybe try getting some net floats for the arms and handle?

Might add abit of weight but should make landing them easier.

I have a set of the Aqua floats on one of my nets.

Would a longer (8 foot) handle make it easier as you wouldn't have to bend over as much?

Maybe take a look at the new Korum opportunist landing net and pole,the pole looks good,folds up very small..there are vids for it on the korum YouTube channel..

Its supposed to be very light and compact,..

Sabre do a carbon two piece handle net for £50. Which seems great value. I bought one to replace my 2nd net. How reliable it will be I can't say as only had it a couple of months.
