OK,everyone seems to be going lightweight ditching that barrow, short sessions etc..

Carrying less,or lighter tackle is part of that ethos..this is what I have learnt from owning it..

Firstly its not cheap, you can get generic ones but not in XL size..
The legs are strong, sturdy and don't sink in the ground like the chair one or generic versions
Its super comfy..I use mine as a carp day chair,or general course chair, inside my bivvy..and car camping,bushcraft..ie very versatile..
It is super lightweight I clip a paranoid strap on it,over my shoulder,it also fits perfect in my poterlite barrow bag..
I can now easily carry all my day kit for carp fishing, using this chair..before I had to do my exercises to lift my nasty day chair,lol..

Remember,it won't be long before the big companies cotton on to these,as the next must have..

Still looks like it could use some mud feet to me. But how is the neck comfort? You don't have a bar against your neck?

But with just 1.5 kg it's half of what i've got, so looking good

It's fun isn't it, getting your gear down to an absolute minimum and still have everything you need. Brings you to places where the fish are:P

It is great fun, liberating and exciting...I've been doing it for years, slowly and surely..

I found no real problem, honestly..with the legs,as they are a thicker grade and diameter, not had to worry about it,but I have four bits of lino,in my car if needed, not used them,as yet..

Comfort, well I have fallen asleep lots of times, and found having no bar,no issue at all, never thought about it tbh..

Seriously its one of my best buys...I'm now a heartbeat away from getting the extended height bedchair, which weighs in at six pounds..!!

Last year,I fished somewhere,all I used was my RT bedchair,poncho tarp,rucksack,two rods,and a waterfilter...it was brilliant...no barrow..!

I like my little generic one, mine has mud feet and weighs less than a kilo. I'm quite happy sitting on a bucket for mobile fishing but a bit of back support makes a huge difference. I can't fully relax in it though, I've fallen over with it numerous times now

The Hellinox One is a brilliant bit of kit. Would be amazing if they had adjustable legs.

I've got a rip off version, still very impressive 👍

I just love it,...I've never ever seen anyone else use one generic or other yet for fishing, sold my bulky chair...

I've totally transformed the way ,manner of getting my kit down the lake,I still use my other kit,but its all minimal, you want to to see my tackle pouch,lol..I've gone backwards.....to go forwards, getting older, still fishing crazy ,don't want to be encumbered with totally oversized gear anymore..

My bushcraft learning curve, made me think,....less IS more..just gotta decide to go ten ft....or no...hmmmmm,lol

I've not seen anyone else use one either, I keep joking that aqua will sick an atom logo on it and charge £60, only half joking tho.
I fold the top half of the back down at night, it fits nicely in the v behind the bed in the v2 brolly and makes a handy cradle for photo kit etc

Thats what I do/did as well, put mine behind the bedchair..

I also, got rid of my bedchair buddy,as its bulky compared to my Helinox, and it butt's up right against the bedchair,so you sit just inside the doorway,I've got an mk1 armo..just right,so if weather is good, cook and look round outside nicely, and its so comfy as you would know..

Your so right, bet you a tenner, someone, will stick another label on em and it will be like the ridgemonkey toaster phenomenon..mine is forest green, you can get em in came..

I might just,do it,get the bedchair...or cots as the Americans call em..

The beds are all too low for me, getting up from there in a hurry is a risk with my knees, plus the bulk of my luggage fits under my bed. Even if it was taller I'm not sure I'd like those poles poking up just waiting to do you a mischief.

Firstly I believe everything that's said all the top score for this chair as other sites on the web are giving top score but to look at them they remind me of them cheap fold up chairs they look like they would do your back in are they really that comfortable as I am a go light freak and go camping so very interested in these feedback please also what's the name of the rip off version

Aldi do them occasionally for about 17 quid, but I got mine from amazon for £25, green with mud feet. It's a step up from a bucket but not as comfy as a proper chair. They have a really small footprint, which is why I keep falling out of it reaching for something. I haven't used an xl version but will buy one when mine breaks, I reckon it'll be a step up

Just tap lightweight camping chair into Google and you'll find hundreds of them

If the bedchair had adjustable legs it would be a winner...

The xl chair one i have,is ever so comfy mate,I been sat on mine most of today..

I see on the Helinox site, there is a kit,and or a much higher version of the 'cots'..that's the one I would go for..I reckon..like as said, imagine if it had adjusters, and weighed under ten pounds in weight..,now that really would be a positive..
Are you sure?
