Have been an avid Berkley CM90 line for a few years, unfortunately I can't find 15lb bs anywhere. Any other recommendations, clear water, heavy weed, snags and plenty of gravel.
Needs to be tough and cast well.

I absolutely love Fox Exocet, and for its strength the line diameter is low. For example, even at top end at 23lb you are only talking .40, I think 18lb is .38, so you can afford to step up a bit more without losing distance on your cast

Sounds just like my syndicate, I went on a recommendation off one of the members and got PB Products in 28lb, I thought it would be overkill but I am really pleased with it, it is only .38 or something and handles anything I need it to

Korda touchdown is similar in quality to the Berkley Cm 90
Not sure if i like Korda touchdown more but so far i'm very happy with it, only fished twice this year, last year I fished with Cm90 and was very satisfied with it, that touchdown is smoother but Cm90 isn't too stiff either.

Sorry mate subline is nothing like cm90. Subline is the stretchiest line I've ever used and doesn't sink anything as good as cm90
I've just been in the same situation mate. Wanted either syncro xt or cm90 both out of stock till mid April I believe. I've had to buy something so went for pb products control. If it's crap I'll strip it off and get syncro xt or cm90 when it's back in stock
You could look at touchdown that's decent line doesn't feel as good as the cm90 but still low stretch and sinks well

Cant say so far it's worse then Cm90
Sinks and casts very well, can't say much about kinks after fishing twice, but kinks are often due to misuse.

I've had faith in touchdown ever since I had a 50 drag me over a load of rocks. I thought “there's no way I'm getting away with this!” But it held out perfectly. That was with the 0.40 15lb. I've stepped down to 0.35 12lb for the past few years and it's been brilliant. Doesn't sink as well as the 0.40 obviously, but ticks every box for me.

Gardner hydrotuff in the 15lb version for me.

Pb control 28lb a great alternative.. not as gd for anti twist and may require a couple feet taken off every now and again. HOWEVER The best sinking CLEAR tinted line I have found, also you can get away with sone twist as less visible. Sinks really really well, casts lovely , great to feel down. Definitely the best clearish version of cm90. Not quite as gd but you can get away will a little more twisting on a clear line. Great abrasion resistance as well.. come on berkley, release a clear version !!!!

Gardner GT80 plus tough as old rope sinks very well casts nice once its taken on a bit of water and very reliable.

I would class line as a personal experience to a certain degree then experience of such product for a user becomes the key aspect of ratification
My experience of gt80+ and gr60x was that they were some of the worst lines I have used out of the 'peak performance' lines dedidated to the specimen angler. Honestly berley, esp or pb for me.

I stopped buying line based on the stated breaking strain years ago.
Everyone should download the Tackle Box line comparison chart as it's a real eye opener.
For what it's worth I use Syncro xt in weedy and snaggy conditions and Fox Excocet for pretty much every thing else. The FOX line is great but massively overstated breaking strain so I buy by actual diameter.
Line choice is very much a personal thing and you should use what works for you.
