I've just upgraded to a set of tacklebox 10ft CFX black edition rods including marker, I'm now looking for a 10ft floater fishing rod or 2.25 tc rod that wouldn't look out of place with this setup ideally around the £100 mark.

any suggestions please

Probably would but my Mrs might beat me if I spend too much on another rod

I would personally stick to a 12' rod for floater fishing. The longer rod helps with picking up the line off the surface.

How about 12ft 2.25 barbel rod or esp floater rod

Ive just spent near on £500 on the other rods so didnt want to go mad on the floater rod

I do a lot of floater fishing and find my tfg 10ft compact commercial carp rod ideal for it. 2.5lb tc although it feels a bit softer, through action, casts floaters well, plays well and cost much less than I was prepared to pay.
Possibly a bit cheaper than you were thinking but I assure you it's very good value, definitely worth a look and considering especially on performance.
Looks to be still available on eBay.

Have a look at the TB Darent Valley 11.9ft 2.25tc rod. It's a great floater rod. I've been using it for floater fishing for a few years now, soft at the top, but power when needed down in the butt.

Korum do a 10' 2.25lb TC rod which looks like it will do the job. Haven't got one so don't know if they're any good, but look ok for £60.
