Looking for a water thermometer, any body use one regular and have any advice on which one and use of it ?

I use an aquarium digital one with a four foot wire with metal probe on the end, this suffices for margins which gives you an idea of water temp (I bought from eBay about ut £5). If you want to know temperature where your casting a thermometer in a brass housing are what you need again available on eBay or any decent tackle shop.
