Evening. As my kids are getting to the age they want to do more nights on the bank. Currently I have a Titan T1 and I can just about get my bed by the door and a old school JRC bed at the back but this is not as wide as most modern day beds and as they get bigger I'm sure it's going to break and I'll have to get a new one.
The problem I have is that I'm right in top of the door and if I get a run in the night (which isn't very often these days) I have to pull some kind of yoga move to spin on the spot while rocking my legs in so I can then get my legs out the door, lol.
So I'm sure you are thinking, just get a 2 man or a wrap but the lake I fish is from platforms so space is limited and I don't think I'd fit a full blown 2 man in them.
Does anyone have any suggestions on bivvies to fit 2 beds front and back (this also helps me make sure they don't go swimming in the night) but with a small footprint?

How about the Nash Titan Hide XL, these have a large foot print.
Approx dimensions: Height 152cm x Width 280cm x Depth 210cm.
Height of front peak: 130cm.

Does anyone know if you could squeeze 2 beds in a Tempest V2? The dimensions look around 0.5m deeper than the Titan T1 whichi was surprised at but I wasn't sure how far back you could push your bed at the back because of the shape to squeeze another bed at the front when the kids come along.

Ive got a tempest v2 xl and you might get two standard beds in at a squeeze. You wouldnt ger two wide beds in it though.

Thanks all. At least I can rule out the Tempest unless I go for the XL, I do have standard with bedchairs.
I have been looking at the Typhoon and they look good but I wasn't sure how strong the block was on the front where the front poles go. Do you have one?

The MH is slightly bigger but also the mk2 if you like, its got stronger and anti twist poles throughout. The block is strong on both. They also do cam lok or thumb screw front 3 poles. I prefer thumb screw. I have original typhoon and although I've had no issues, I recently bought the antitwist poles for £40 and upgraded them and its far better. Its a little low for me being tall but I just about get away with it without the vapour shield it as it hangs down however its not needed with skull cap on , no condensation whatsoever. The MH would be perfect for me however I like the small footprint of typhoon still with loads of room inside, plus I don't have the funds to buy a new one otherwise I would have both

2man Armo is not actually that big - compare the footprint to a Tempest 150 and I bet they're not a million miles away . . Use mine for France or for taking one of the kids occaisionally - you can fit 2x normal bedchairs end on and in a 'splayed' position (minus wrap) no probs . . .add the wrap and you can fit 2x bedchairs pretty much parallel end on with a walkway in between. . .
When the kids were younger I always used to zip the bivvy door up at night so they couldn't randomly escape . . they were also instructed to defecate in the handy bivvy bucket . . .

That is exactly how I would describe my 2 man Trakker Cayman. You can just about fit two beds in if splayed when not using the winter skin.
I can squeeze it into the same spots as my original 1.5 man pioneer. its about a foot wider but no deeper.
