My syndicate are going to start feeding a specific
Boilie into the lake. They are offering it to the members for a very good price . Question is with this being fed into the lake would the fish start to see that as a natural food source and then make it easier for them to get them feeding on that bait if I was to use it. Or would it do the opposite if everyone on the lake used it and they started to get caught on it therefore making it stand out as danger?

Would you lot use the syndicate boilie or stick to an existing boilie you have confidence in

I'd use both, one rod on syndi bait and the other on your usual and change according to results.

I think you'd be crazy not to try it.

Two lads can be using the same bait but the way you go about actually applying it can vary tremendously.
Spombing chops, solid bag of chops with scattering of solids, etc.

If it starts going in regularly and in decent amounts and the bait is good then they will come to see it as a type of natural food. I'd certainly have some with me, why make it hard for yourself but I'd also have another bait as back up.

As for the angling if your fishing better than most you should catch more so a win win. Only you will know or have an idea on what's getting caught and whether you think a change or tweak is in order.

I've been in that scenario and continued to use my own. I was quite suspicious about how much, if any of their bait was being fed into the water. People fell for it though, as quite a few members were buying their bait. I stuck with my own and overall, my results were better than most. Those who were using it, didn't exactly rinse the place. This is becoming more and more common - even a day ticket water I fished last year was pushing their own bait, trying to mug people off into thinking they'll do better using it. I'd rather not use something that everyone else is on.

My syndicate owner rolls his own bait and a lot of members use it. It's a decent bait tbh but I like to be a bit different on at least one rod. It's fair to say most fish that Come out do so on his bait but then most anglers are using it so it stands to reason. I've used a few baits but his have out fished others. You've got a lot of members using it plus he's also chucking in and over rolls and chops etc

Personally I would use whatever bait you are using at the moment for a couple of reasons. Firstly if you have confidence in your usual bait and you've had some decent fish on it and its of high quality then all you have to worry about is locating them and you will catch them instead of being on fish and wondering whether its the bait as to why you've not had a pick up and secondly I've always stuck by fish the same as everyone else and you will catch the same. Being different to the grain plays a massive part of my own personal fishing and I'm sure its caught me a few bonus fish over the years
Hope this helps
