Bit the bullet and ordered in 15lb after reviews on here....10 years on 20lb X Line looking forward to being able to cast at range & ease again 😃😃

I found The loaded is like a completely different make of line
very wiry and didnt behave anywhere near as well horrible coiley stuff IMHO

Hi mate. I've also used xline for.many years. Still do
But I needed something that would work better on little baitrunners with my kids Dwarf setup . I was amazed at how well it handled compared to others I tried.

My current water is mainly bait-boat work so don't notice the springy-ness as much (I re-spooled from XT to loaded mid season) . . .loaded def sinks easily and knots well as previous - the colour is arguably more discreet . . .
Standard synchro definitely a better behaved, all round and better for casting line . . .

I also wasn't a fan of the loaded. It sinks very well, but I find too much line on the bottom can effect bite indication. I was finding that when reeling in, it was almost having to lift off the bottom of the lake, if I'm having to put effort into that, how many times am I getting picked up and not knowing about it. Not talking full blown runs obviously, but if. Bream picks you up, your unlikely to know about it

Line will move in a linear direction underwater, and the weight above will have a positive impact on this occurring. If you use a running lead you have the best indication you can get..

The XT loaded is a good line for margin and close in work with slack lines.
However Synchro XT is my go to line.
