I've just switched to using another bait company , very reputable one , I use freezer baits and have noticed when I thor them out and dry them after a couple of days they get a white residue around them , should I worry or not ?

We used to leave baits on the car dash in the sun to make this happen in the 80's.

This is the sugars leaching out of the boilies, if you are air drying them to harden you should shake them about a couple of times a day to stop them turning in a negative way.
I was told it could be 2 things on here, sugars/salts as mentioned and mould/enzyme action. Only ever seen it once when I used Cell, apparently sugars was the consensus with that bait. Don't be put off if it's the other

Some freezer baits will do this. As long as its not mould they are perfectly fine to use. Mould looks very different, it will often have a blue or green tint and grows thick and furry. As you have been drying them I would be 99% confident it's just sugars being produced by an active nature of the bait.
