Recently got some 6000t and have put my SS3000's into short retirement 😎 I've been a 20lb x line user for 10 years now but really like the sound of the Korda tapered line,probably due to having restricted casting using Fluro for so long...

Debating sticking with X Line or maybe it's time for a change back to mono the lake I'm on the fish sit out at 100 yards due to pressure so I'm edging back towards mono with the ease of hitting that range with bags/sticks

Syncro xt, gt80, gr60 or cm90 all superb. If i could pick one it would be syncro xt.

Forget CM90, can't get it anywhere at the moment

I must be the only angler not to get on with the stuff, I've got 1000m at 16lbs BS left over after buying a 1200m spool. Won't be using it, sounds like the stuff is gold dust so might sell it on the bay

Odd, only ever seen it in 12,15 or18lb.

You are correct, it's 15lbs, sorry. The mainline I actually use is 16lbs

Was just watching terry Edmonds casting on you tube sure he said he used a 0.38 line anyone know what he uses ?

The 15lbs CM90 is 0.38mm so could be that.

But that's just a guess on my part

Your not, I had problems with it a couple of years back over in France with abrasion resistance, changed back to gr60 mid session and problem solved

I used it alot on a lake with savage bars and it does show sign of sbrassion when tested however it never actually snaps, whereas I have had other lines like synch cut clean through.

It went 5 times on me, plus was frayed a few more times.its not as abrasion resistant as gr60, that's a fact

ESP Syncro XT I think will be the one in 15lb

How does the Gardner Hydrotuff compare overall against the GR60? Anyone used the 20lb version?
