My local fishery said they will be getting a review end of this month with hopes to reopen, In Wales does anyone have a opinion on this?

When you look at the whole Covid problem I honestly think fishing alone should not be.a problem but some people cannot be trusted, as we have seen the minority spoil if for the majority. The flip side of the coin is the travelling, and contact with people, petrol stations, fishing shops, and meeting other people and if it all goes tits up you may need some kind of emergency services, so for me, I guess there is a risk and you could class it as an unnecessary one?
Personally the sooner we see the back of it the better, my favourite time of the year is around the corner, spring, would I love to be on the bank for that

without being flippant - you just have to wait until the new guidance, which it seems is what your fishery is saying. From the news, it looks like Police enforcement is (out of necessity at times) more strict and more effective in Wales. The last thing you need is a fine for setting off to fish if the stay at home rule is still in force.

Yeah exactly Mate I live 0.6 miles away from my Fishery But just a shame we're all in the same Boat Though aren't we. I'm moving end of The Month so won't be going to my local fishery for Some While. I'm on that with you love to fish in Spring and make some Nice hot Broth With Rounds of bread Top Bomber!!

My syndicate has decided to stay shut. Is what it is. No point getting to pissed off about it. Some people keep bringing up mental well being. Whilst I fully agree this is an issue, a lot just use it as an excuse imho

Not where I live in Essex - seems that everywhere is still open, just no night fishing. Suits me just fine, been doing a two days mid-week and banks are quiet.

Alton near me was closed for fishing last time I took the dog out for a decent walk. I can walk the dog round, but not fish😖😆
I have a local park lake, which is currently frozen over, and the river is over the banks and unfishable in most areas.
To be honest with the current weather I haven't got the motivation to do anything fishing wise.

I don't understand why any syndicate would be closed? I've left it up to my members to decide whether they can legitimately travel to fish or not.
Most of the fisheries near me are all open, I've decided not to go fish them tho till we can do overnighters I don't like doing day sessions tbh I don't do anything under 48hrs these days

Im in two clubs opposite ends of the country
one is a 9 mile return trip the other a 296 mile return trip BOTH clubs have said 06.00 to 18.00 fishing by local anglers only as one club stated we are not the police so you must decide if your local or not
