First Timeusing pop up's. I have some blakes bait pop ups to give a try. But I'm going to put an order in and not too sure what to use either Nash citrus, cc Moore pacific tuna, or dna pop ups
Let me know what you think guys on the lake I fished done well on bottom bait pacific tuna but also with fruity citrus boilies but going to give pop ups a go

My honest advise would be don't get lead into buying a bag full of pots of many different colour/flavours of weird and wonderful and sometimes pricey carp sweets. A well placed bottom bait out of the bag will often do better if put in the right place with the right application of loose feed.
I would think of it more do I need something off the ground or very bright/attractive over a bait on the deck rather than do they want to eat something peach or mussel flavour.

Thanks mate because I've been caught up in all this wafters, air ball pop ups, dumbells then glugs wow it takes over the enjoyment of fishing. Ik try the blakes free tub orange pop ups see how it goes and stick to the bottom baits. Robin red pellets would go with any type of hook bait you reckon? I can get them at a very cheap price

Most are lures, all flavours to catch anglers, I prefer pop ups or wafters made with basemix and matching liquids or pop-ups that utilise known attractors like N-but acid , Betaine and so on. Not just flavoured blanks.
See so many on the banks with 40 tubs of pop-ups.

99% of my fishing is pop ups. Imho performance i.e. buoyancy, and colour is more important than flavour/content, especially over feed. Just choose whichever takes your fancy, balance a rig to suit and you'll have it off if you're confident.
Singles maybe a different matter but confidence equally important.

I catch carp on plastic corn. Don't worry too much. Just be in the right place at the right time; put in the effort.
