So about to receive my new camera. Decided to go with a canon M50 as it has everything I need in a nice neat and small package good for holidays and events too and will be future proof for a long time for me but I want to get a lens more suited for catch shots. The M50's Comes standard with a 15-45mm F/3.5-6.3 lens. I don't mind spending a bit on the setup as selling my old compact camera And DSLR camera will cover me and I'll get from 1 what I got from both. That being said I'd rather spend as little as possible obviously.
The options I can see that make sense:
£380 Canon Ef-m 32mm f/1.4 (bit pricey)
£270 Sigma DCDN 30mm f/1.4 (Little less pricey)
£125 Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 (much cheaper, requires lens adapter, has Autofocus)
I mean logic would tell me to go with canon 50mm, but I'm no photograpghy expert. I know my way around a camera enough to get half decent shots.
Is there any other lenses that would be more ideal?
Will the 30mm or 32mm be much better for catch shots?
Is the autofocus a benefit? (Thinking in case I move slightly when self taking using intervalometer)

A bit of a curve ball, and would warrant a bit of investigation on your part, but I'd look getting a lens turbo and the ef 50 1.8
With the lens turbo it will look like a 50 1.8 on full frame, give you lower iso when using wide open, will be a lot sharper and with rumours of a crop sensor r mount camera coming, you'll avoid investing in a system that may not be around long

I have an M6 and used the 50 1.8 for a while. Great set up, but I now use the 32 1.4 and it's on another level. In terms of image quality it's up there with the L lenses imo. A fantastic lens.

So sounds like in your opinion it's worth the extra money. No point on me scrimping on the lens if paying £500 for a camera I suppose

A lens turbo is a different type of adaptor, it condenses the light coming through the lens so you use all of it, rather than half of it not hitting the smaller sensor. The 50 1.8 effectively becomes a 35 1.2, and a lot sharper than the 50 1.8 mounted direct.
The other lenses you listed are miles better than the 50, and they should be considering the 50 wasn't designed in this century
Not sure why you singled the 50 out for auto focus, the other two will auto focus as well or better
