I suspect the trakker one is a cheap generic one that's had their name printed on it and the price inflated. You'll probably be better off spending the same money one one thats from a company that makes binoculars/scopes.

HI, i got the Barr & Stroud Sprite monocular 10x50. £50 can't fault it, great optics and super clear at max magnification. I would agree with the other comments and get on from a dedicated company, Trakker are only going to rebadge one of them and up the price.

Lifetime warranty on the Vortex stuff aswell. Brilliant company.

Vortex are the way forward lifetime warranty so never have to buy another pair again if you play your cards right.

Which Vortex model would you recommend?

For a no nonsense monocular any of the Vortex solo models would suit. Personally I would go for either the 8x36 or 10x36 dependent games on magnification you would need. The slightly bigger objective compared to the 25's will give better image in lower light conditions.

Vortex diamond back I have
I use them for my shooting and fishing and compared to my brothers 3k swaros there's not not much difference apart from a range finder
