Am after a magnetic hockey stick, in black, that fits jag / solar thread. Anybody seen such a thing ?

Thanks guys, should have mentioned that my indicators have a male 2ba thread that I guess need some kind of adapter to make magnetic.

Korda do magnetic hockey sticks, they also do the magnets that screw onto your bobbins swingers, ive used them on my cygnet pivot arms they're 2ba thread

I have converted hockey sticks to magnet before and not as hard as you might think mine were the solar stainless ones, all you have to do is drill them out and glue a magnet in, then with the threaded part drill that out and insert magnet making sure you get the polarity the right way!
I even made some adapters with a 6mm thread to take fox fittings, i wouldn't be able to do that now as i no longer have access to a lathe

thanks for the reply, but the cygnet arms are female, mine are male, think this renders the Korda solution unsuitable.

Its not hard is it... i forgot that korda use a state of the art lab to make thier stows??? But then again i know of some daft **** that doesnt own a screwdriver or anything so i understand that glue and magnets might be to much to get your head round. If you can rewire a plug you can make a magnetic hockey stick.. quick tip dont get hot glue on your hands, face or in your hair as it is a **** to get out your eye lashes and hurts when you do remove it

The way i did it was when bored and ****ing about used a 4 or 5mm i think hss bit to remove the threds in a clamp dont try that by hand haja and glued a magnet in there then i drilled a 1mm hole in a magnet that i counter sunk in 1 side for a knot it worked for what j needed

Korda magnetic adapters? They have a female end where your bobbins screw into, and they're 2ba. If I'm reading right your bobbins have a male 2ba thread they'll screw straight into the adapters

If you need to make a female thread a male thread, simply purchase a grub screw of the correct thread and length....screw into female part leaving a section on the grub screw exposed...now you have a male thread where needed....
