This is a complete stab in the dark to see if anyone has any suggestions.
Got a Prologic WUSB receiver that was working fine with my bite alarms. Only trouble is you have to keep it charged.
I was doing this from home with the aid of a usb mains plug without any problems.
As my car has a usb port I then decided to leave it plugged into that to keep it fully charged and no chance of forgetting to charge it.
Yesterday I switched it on. The Prologic welcome screen came on, the message setting up came on, then I got a blue screen saying Empty Disk.
It then says goodbye and switches off.
Plugged it into my computer and all I can see are the various folders that contain the different tones. says the disk is fat32 so copied the folders to my hard drive and re-formatted the disk. Then copied the folders back. Made no difference.
Anyone got any ideas before I have to chuck it in the bin and fork out some more hard earned dosh?

Internal battery dead maybe? Contact Daletronics, see if he's come across it

Contacted Prologic and got a very fast reply from their customer services with a link to their spares and repair guy.
He (John) replied very quickly too offering good advice as to what the problem was likely to be and the small costs involved to fix the problem. He too mentioned that he was certain the battery was dead.
Looks like charging it from the car has for some reason destroyed it. I thought 12v USB was the same wether through a car or a wall socket adapter.
I don't know why it's done it, If anyone does know the cause I'd love to be educated.

The car cigarette lighter output is 12volts, the USB is 5volts. The USB is usually provides about 0.5amps to whatever is plugged into, ok for slow charging your phone etc
I would say its perhaps the case the battery has developed a fault and simply replacing will resolve.

I wouldn't leave it plugged in for days at a time either.

have you tried plugging it into the wall charger and switching it on?
