Evening chaps,

Haven't been able to do an awful lot of angling this year due to various reasons, but I am off for 48hrs on a tough little local lake at the weekend. I have some good quality shelf life boilies which I'm going to crumb up, along with some corn, maggots and caster, and would like to know what liquid(s) based items you guys use in the Autumn/Winter to get them carp to get their heads down?

I was initially thinking something like condensed milk, so thoughts on this would be good also.

Thanks in advance
Ynnek

Or are spirits OK to use?

Something like Cointreau? (Which was left over from the other halves cocktail party last year)

Love the dynamite baits liquid tiger. Use it on a nut based bait and have done very well on it on winters gone by.

Shouldn't really say this but with limited use Baileys has been successful for me and at a tenner a litre at Asda at the moment that's way cheaper than most fishing trade liquids.

Had a couple of successful trips to France autumn 2018 with heavily glugged maize/Cell but couldnt replicate results at home on the syndicate so not sure if in the right place at the right time or if hydro wheat is more venue specific?
