Any recommendations for a decent pellet for this time of the year into winter ? I will be pre baiting with it , so one that's value for money non of this £10a kilo nonsense.

BP Milling standard pellet. Designed to feed carp in cold water conditions. 25% protein, 3% fat. £22.50 a sack of 25kg plus postage delivered so £1.35 a kilo.

Bp milling pellet breaks down far too quickly for my liking
I know a fishery owner who has been using it and he found it just dissolved before the fish ate it. Skretting carp pellet or coppens carp is a better choice on cold water in my opinion

Exactly why I've never bought it. I do believe that they were putting together a pellet with a slower breakdown, but I've not bought that either.

Have a look at the BAF website, they have a selection of pellets and a BF Sale until 2nd December. Haven't used them personally, but there will probably be reviews on this forum I'd have thought.
