Looking at some new line for my new Daiwa Emblem 45 SCW QD Reels, anyone using the below.. or any ideas on a good sinking line.. (can of worms I know)

Hi, just so you know the .38mm line is 15lb not 24lb. I have used the line before and really didn't get on with it so removed it very quickly. Although now reading so many good reviews on it I'm keen to try it again and hoping that I just got a bad batch before.

Used the 15lb and 18lb CM90, found it to be a good line, does everything I need.
Fortunately just picked up a few tins or original technium black 15lb, still my favorite line and great if you can get some.

I have cm90 in 12 and 15 , cf600 in 15, fox exocet in 23 and gardner 22lb braid on my 45's
The cm90 15 is my jack of all trades do it all line.
It casts well, sinks well and doesn't twist too bad.
Go for it!

Ironically one of the very few Korda products I've been impressed with is Kordas Subline, it's stretchy and thicker than other lines however it sinks well and casts well imo.

I use cm90, I love it, nice and supple, casts well and sinks like a brick

An alternative supple good casting line that sinks well but a clear tinted colour is pb control. 24lb was 0.35.. its a great line but I am replacing with 28lb 0.38 as I need something a bit tougher for my snaggy water. Should arrive tomorrow, I'm keen to see if it retains its supple nature in that thickness.. it could be the ultimate line, although I doubt it lol
.. it not quite as gd as cm90 in regards to retaining suppleness and not getting kinked/twisted.. but its far better that a lot of others, prob 3rd best behind cm90 and tech black but I like the clear colour 🙂
