Any one heard or used these reels? Korean made look good but nothing on their reviews. £180 with 3 spools with 10 ball bearings. Double line clips too.

Yes, seems very nice reels, very similar to Shimano reels,
spools interchangeable between the two (yuki AMG surf - VS - shimano FLIGEN sd super aereo)

I think Shimano's are manufactured in Malaysia. Although I always thought they are built in Japan?

Yuki reels are popular with the guys that do surfcasting.
Have no idea about the quality of the drag.

We are spoilt for choice so why ?
The negatives with this brand I see
Very few resellers
Price seems high (not helped by limited number of resellers)
Limited reviews - how will they fair are a few seasons use ?

I recently read a review from a dude that was using this reeels for shark fishing. He was very enthusiastic about the reels but the drag was a drawback. The drag power is 15kg and that was not powerful enough for big sharks.

I think it depends on model as to where they were manufactured my techniums were made in japan but my ci4 xtb's were made in malaysia

although it doesnt necessarily matter but usually if they boast of using Korean (north or South !? huge difference) or Japanese technology it probably means its made in china using imported components like a lot of them do -
better off looking what it says on the box
