I'm sure cc Moore used to have an ingredients chart that stated the solubility of each individual ingredient in percentages, just wondered if anyone has it or something similar?
It was obviously handy to have all the information in one place as companies seem to include these percentages and not others.
Thanks Tom.

I only remember a chart that stated which ingredient was soluble or insoluble, but no %s as such.
I´m sure CC Moores would send a copy, if you contact them

That chart is only a rough guide. For example I am looking at a datasheet for Danish LT94 fishmeal. Its states a protein level of 68-72% with 18-32% of that soluble. It doesn't say how that solubility is measured i.e. is that at 20°C or 100°C?
If you aim for 20% solubles in your mix that seems to be a good starting point but the only way to find out is to make a test batch. Do some different boiling times and then try them for 24-48 hours in a glass of water to see 1) how much they cloud up the water and 2) how soft they go.
This is all part of the fun of bait making
My wife is amused by the line of glasses in the kitchen with different baits in them
edited to add, that link from CCMoore says LT95 is insoluble but the description from another well established bait firm says 'A nice low temperature fishmeal that's very soluble.'
They are both correct in some ways

Thanks Smurf, originally for some reason I thought it was better than it is, with percentages of solubility.
I planned to use it for rough sketching, but it's easy enough to knock one up that's more in depth from the individual suppliers.
