Hi l've got a trackker hydro landing net which is a decent net but do l struggle to get it together and break down so have been using my old fox one which as had it now so been looking at replacing the tracker hydro net but unless l spent stupid money don't think l'll get one much better and someone mentioned replacing the cord so it isn't quite so tight anyone done this and could recommend a decent replacement cord.

Depending on how it fits in the end ferrules - Strimmer Wire

Lasts forever, but you need to feed it through a bead and then blob the end over with a lighter and pull back to the bead.

Anything that doesn't shrink, as below.

Thanks for the replies lads but only gone and bought a matrix 3K net sounds like it should be a bit easier to put together and break down

I have done this to my net. I used leadcore as i made the change in the bank. Been going strong for years now

I've found the more you pay for a net(to a point) the stiffer they are, so the harder they are to put together until you get the knack of it. The only trakker net I've used is the eq net, I actually shortened the cord by about 4 inches to put more tension in the arms as I found it so floppy

And I've had it over 10 years lol. Sometimes I can do it first time. But other times it's a 5 minute sweat for a poxy

Just love my old JRC Roamer nets in 50" &42" bit like Triggers broom !!! had 2 new nets on each plus cords, but still the same handle and arms
